Sakura blossoms were falling the day the parted from each other. The weather was calm but cold, as if predicting how they were going to feel from then on. The bliss they had once felt in that same park faded away as the younger walked away in order to reach for his dream.
There was no good-bye hug, there weren’t any tears. There was just that awkward feeling and that outstanding loneliness. That, and the memories they had made together.
The taller’s back disappeared into the streets and the older turned around. His head was completely blank and he didn’t even think about what had brought him there.
In the end, after they had drawn away, there was nothing left. No thoughts, no memories, no love... just a goodbye.
Title: My Last Train
It’s been two weeks since that day. Two weeks since he disappeared, since he left him, and the only thing he can do is wonder why didn’t he notice before. Why didn’t he realise that he was losing the older?
He knew the answer, and it hurt him more than the absence of the other. If he had only been a little more thoughtful, if he had tried to spend just a little more time with him... But he knew too that nothing could be done already, everything he could have tried and didn’t do is now part of the past and nothing’s going to return that shiny eyed cute boy he fell in love with to him.
Not since that train took him far away. Away... to a place he couldn’t follow him to, since he didn’t have the courage he needed to find him and make up the excuse the shorter asked him then.
It’s been two weeks since that day. Two weeks since he disappeared, since he left him, and, within these two weeks, he hasn’t stopped regretting not having done something while he was still able to.
